Isolation clothing and types thereof

Clothing can provide a lot of protection against the spread of cross-infection and reduce the chance of health care workers contracting the disease. Since there is no fixed standard for isolation clothing, the level of protection for these gowns depends entirely on the materials used in their manufacture. The fabric of the dress, its design, aperture, seam strength, protection, fluidity and thermal fit are some of the characteristics that can contribute to the effectiveness of these dresses.

The two types of these isolation dresses and their advantages are described below.

This dress is designed for one-time use. After using them, these will be discarded. Nonwoven materials are commonly used in manufacturing. By combining nonwoven materials with certain other materials, such as plastic films, protection against liquid penetration can be enhanced. Various forms of synthetic fibers are used for manufacturing purposes. The main forms used are polypropylene, polyester and polyethylene.
